I’m an artist. I paint. I draw. I make strange collage pieces out of, well, anything. I am happy when someone likes my work, but not devastated when they do not. I do not like telling people what I see in my work, I would rather hear what they see as art changes with each fresh set of eyes. I believe in myself, my family and friends, my Goddess and God, geekdom, that words and language are powerful and should not be trifled with, and the permeating importance of aesthetics.

Empress, Six of Wands

Soooooooo. Kind of forgot to update this part. Finished the Empress, she who is the mother, the creative source, the fount, the fruitful. Then came the six of Wands, and next will be the Nine of Chalices. I have done more chalices than anything else thus far in this slow slow process. Maybe I need to pull my head out of my ass and start paying attention to what my emotions and intuition are trying to tell me. Apparently, I am stubborn. GASP!

Eight of Wands! Yay! That's pretty much all I've got right now. Been busy and hectic and blah blah blah blah excuses excuses excuses. Anywho.
Great haste, great hope - projects!!! Just as i was starting to get ramped up about doing these cards again and really wanting to get through them at a better pace, this card turns up. I would say that is some pretty obvious encouragement! I think the deck itself wants me to complete more of it. Yes, i am a little touched but I would challenge you to find a serious student of Tarot who does not think that their decks have their own life energies. I went a long period of time without using mine
